Help us shape youth ministry for the future

We want all young people to flourish and to know that they are cherished by God and are a vital part of the Church. So, as an Archdiocese, we are committed to explore how we can best accompany young people. Your voice is crucial.

What will happen: You will meet others and have your chance to share your experiences and ideas about how the Church might best respond to the needs of young people today. All feedback will be carefully listened to as part of a diocesan wide process planning youth ministry for the years ahead.

Who’s invited: We want to hear from adults, young adults and 11-18 year olds. Please join us. (Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.)

Come to ONE of our open meetings.

MONDAY 20TH APRIL 7- 9.30pm       St Joseph's Crow Orchard Rd, Wrightington, Wigan WN6 9PA

TUESDAY 21ST APRIL 7 - 9.30pm      St Monica's Fernhill Road, Bootle, Merseyside, L20 9GA

The process is being facilitated by Danny Curtin, who worked in youth ministry and youth work in the Church for many years.

"Three Ways We can Worship Today!

By Hillsong Creative

Our message has always been clear; true worship has never been confined to twenty minutes of singing on a Sunday. I’ve been a worship pastor for the majority of my adult life and in all of these years of leading and equipping others to lead corporate worship in our many weekend services, this theme has consistently held true:

Worship is a lifestyle.

Because of this I feel confident to say that our need as Christians to worship our God, in spirit and truth, is as real right now as it ever has been and as it ever will be.  When we finally return to worship together again, worship is still a lifestyle.

Worship, in addition to being an act of obedience, puts everything in creation in the perspective which God intended it to be. As we often say, whatever our circumstance may be, choosing to worship takes our eyes off of our problems and onto Jesus. In a world full of uncertainty, worship pushes our attention past our questions and fixates our hearts on the One who holds the answers.

With that in mind I want to encourage you to do three things as an act of worship today":....
